FireHawks are League Champions!

The FireHawks beat Club X in their final game of the year to win the league championship. With a 7-1 league record, combined with going 4-0 in the Strawberry Festival Tournament, the FireHawks finish the year with a 11-1 record.

The FireHawks opened the game vs. Club X with a 2 - 0 lead as Levi Baileys scored both goals. But Club X was not going to give up in their last game of the year on their home field. With two quick goals, Club X tied the game in the middle of the second half. It had appeared the momentum of the game switched in favor of Club X. But the FireHawks never quit. Levi Baileys scored his third goal of the game as he ripped a shot that hit the crossbar, bounced back to him and he fired it into the net. With the FireHawks now up 3-2, AJ Holderman dribbled past a defender and ripped a shot into the net to make it 4-2.

After the game, the FireHawks said good bye to Noah Musick who moved to the Columbus area by giving him his trophy from the Strawberry Festival tournament and then showering him with silly string.
